Esquire's Portrait of the 21st Century is an evolving video portrait of the 75 most influential people of the coming decades and Danger Mouse is being honored as one of them. As part of the magazine's 75th Anniversary edition they commissioned sculptor and new media artist Lincoln Shatz to create dynamic portraits of the listed influencers, using a ten-foot-by-ten-foot translucent box fitted with 24 cameras that stream digital video to 24 computers. Estelle's SHINE is among the 12-strong shortlist for the U.K.'s 2008 Nationwide Mercury Prize announced today! The Nationwide Mercury Prize Exists solely to champion UK music by promoting the 12 Albums of the Year by British or Irish artists. It is Europe's Number One Arts Prize in terms of media coverage and influence. The winners will be announced at the ceremony in London on September 9.

T.I. has unveiled details of his new album, PAPER TRAIL. The superstar will release the follow-up to T.I. vs T.I.P. on September 9th. 'I just want everyone to know that it's coming out and that I’m going to answer a lot of questions in the music,' the ATL-based rapper says of PAPER TRAIL. 'It’s intense and insightful; it’s gonna shake up the game and it’s me at my best.' The album's first official single, 'Whatever You Like,' produced by Jim Jonsin has just hit radio outlets nationwide.

PAPER TRAIL is T.I. at his best – melding emotive moments like the harrowing 'My Life, Your Entertainment' with celebratory anthems such as the cocky 'Turn My Beat Down.' in addition to the aforementioned Danja and Swizz Beatz, the production roster includes such studio stars as DJ Toomp and Drumma Boy.
